In her works, Jutta Koether revisits the history of painting, through such figures as Paul Cézanne, Vincent Van Gogh, Balthus, Lucian Freud and Nicolas Poussin, and its languages of self-expression, feminism and popular culture, through the lens of key figures, such as the film director Kenneth Anger, and musician Patti Smith, to name a few.

Learn all about her artistic approach in this talk between the German artist and the director of Mudam Luxembourg, Suzanne Cotter, who curated the exhibition Tour de Madame.
