Arendt & Medernach

For the law firm Arendt & Medernach, contemporary art is, first of all, a passion. Since a number of years, the firm is engaged in the art of photography by exhibiting artists from all over the world in its building situated in Kirchberg. We showed works from well known artists such as Marie-Jo Lafontaine, Candida Höfer and Günther Förg, and gave young talents the opportunity to exhibit in our office spaces. Progressively, we built up our own art collection, representative of the main currents in contemporary photography. With time, art became a real communication project, directed at the inside as well as the outside of the firm. By creating an evolving work environment, Arendt & Medernach has the ambition to show that law is, not unlike art, a material that has to be questioned regularly and that everything you took for granted can change, evolve, be modified. Our collaboration with Mudam, a museum dedicated to contemporary art in Luxembourg, is a logical step in our approach. This engagement reinforces one of the values of our policy towards art: to share richness and emotions.
