A fairy tale tour through the exhibitions for the little ones from 3 years on with stories illustrated by the artworks on display.

Mudamini Guide

Young art educators

To all language or art teachers! The “Young art educators” programme offers school classes guidance training by the museum educators followed by thematic research in class with the teachers. This allows participants to offer guided tours as a group of two, three or more guides.

Meet & Greet
Within the framework of the series Art museums are bad for you, Mudam offers students specialising in art the opportunity to meet artists exhibiting at the museum. A guided tour with an art educator is held before every meeting. Participation only by booking.

Teacher training seminars

Students of the Université du Luxembourg attend 4 seminars at Mudam per training cycle (5 semesters / 15 months / from January to June) on workshop teaching. Each seminar begins or ends with a meeting.

The objective of these meetings is to stimulate thought about more experimental forms of teaching, in direct interaction with artworks and artists, and to prepare future teachers to open up their school teaching to exchanges with current art and partners from outside school.

Connaissances visuelles

“Connaissances visuelles” (visual knowledges) is a continuing education course offered to teachers and organised by Mudam, in collaboration with the Ministry of National Education and Professional Development, together with the Service de Coordination de la Recherche et de l’Innovation pédagogiques et technologiques (Coordination service for research and pedagogical and technological innovation, SCRIPT).

The objective of this course is twofold: to allow all teachers to experience a visual inquiry of a series of works and to introduce teachers to the cultural partnership.
