PARK(ING) DAY: TRIXI WEIS

Mudam takes part in the first edition of Park(ing) Day in Luxembourg-City and invites the Luxembourgish artist Trixi Weis to invest a parking space in the central station district.

Trixi Weiss transforms “her” parking spot into a video installation. On a road sign screen, a hand communicates with the passers by and shows us a sign language used between motorists, whether it is nice, indicative, premonitory or insulting.

Hermetically locked up in our favorite toy, the car, we learned how to express ourselves thanks to rudimentary means of communication and physical actions translating our states of mind.
